Welcome to the Green Schools Alliance portal for Cisco’s One Million Acts of Green program! There is a lot to discover on this site that will help you, your family, and your school become more environmentally friendly. Remember to visit the site often for new information, future contests, and fun green activities!
To get started, here are a few quick tips to help you navigate the site:
MY ACTS OF GREEN:
The first thing you should do is register your own acts of green to let everyone know what you’re doing right now to help the planet. You can do that by clicking here or on the All Acts of Green button above.
• ALL ACTS OF GREEN: Find out what others are doing to help the planet. Add your own acts of green to the tally!
• MY GREEN HOME PAGES:
- MY GREEN HOME: links you to the many activities on this site, powered by GreenNexxus. Start challenges, edit your public profile, post mini blogs, join groups, and find and invite friends
- MY SCHOOL: You should already be a member of your school’s group – check out who else has joined and is doing their own acts of green!
- MY PROFILE: Upload photos, change your password and click on the Personal Info button to tell everyone why you are going green!
• GROUPS AND CHALLENGES: Start a challenge with a friend, colleague, another class, or another school! You can start and join groups here too!
• EDUCATION: See which other schools are participating
• You will notice a second menu bar at the top of the page in many of the pages you visit – feel free to check out where they go and find out what other activities you can do on this site
