How-To Enter a Project in My Projects 1. If you have not already done so, log into GreenNexxus. If you do not have an account. Please click here to create one.
 
22. Once you are logged in, click the tab along the top labeled "My Projects".





3. On this screen you have the option of creating a new project. Do so by selecting "Add a New Project". br />



4. There are many fields to fill in when creating a project. To begin, give your project a "Project Name".




5. Select the access for your project. Who would you like to be able to view it? Private is only for your eyes. Friends is only viewable by those on your friends list. Finally public is available to all and can be discussed in the forums and searchable on our site.




6. Select your start date from the calendar.




7. What category does your project fit under? Select the best fit.




8. Next, select the status of your project. This is useful for others especially if a discussion has formed around your project.



9. Select the level of participation you would like. This helps others to know how involved they can get with your project.




10. Now, for the details. Input your information. Use the tools present to edit text, color, links, pictures, and more. This tool allows you to create anything including a full webpage worth of options.




11. Finally, put in tags. This helps the search engine to know extra items about your project. Try to put in tags that match what you have done so that searching is easier for everyone.




12. Save your work! Once you do the option to add files will appear.




13. After saving, the button to "Add File" will be available.




14. First, browse to the file you would like to add. It can be a document, video, picture, plans, visio, and dozens of other types of files.




15. Adding a caption will help others know more about the document. Add tags will help in searching. Click "Upload File" once you are done.




16. A preview of your file will be shown. Click "Done".




17. Add more files if you like. Your files will be shown on the right hand side.




18. It is important that you "Save Project" so that your files are saved with it.




19. Your project is now in your project list.

  


20. If you click your project you can view it. This is the view others will see of your project.
