Well Canada, another proud (not) day of international recognition of our collective inability to take climate change seriously. WWF, in its report: Canada ranked last in G8 on climate action, has determined that the US, due to the passing of the Waxman-Markey Bill and other commitments, is now ahead of Canada because the US seems to be firmly committed to action.

However, I also heard about this cool video that encourages politicians to act on climate change now: please take a minute to watch: The Big Ask: Climate Change Act now! Then, pass it on to all your friends: Facebook, Twitter, whatever your social media of choice. This is the year to make sure all politicians know that citizens everywhere want serious climate change action now!

The United Nations and an international coalition of advertising agencies launched a global marketing campaign on June 23 for the climate change treaty to be ratified in Copenhagen later this year. If you want to show your hope for the planet (they've already got 7500 and it keeps climbing), go tell everyone why at Hopenhagen!
